We have another reason to celebrate along the Path today!  Tricia Faerber has successfully completed the requirements to become a Professional Path Certified Coach with our organization.  She has worked over the last year to complete her training, certification and exams with our organization and we are delighted that she is part of the Path Coach Program.  Tricia comes with a long list of credentials and expertise.  At the same time she brings a depth and ‘presence’ to all she does.  Tricia also serves as part of the National Training Team for our organization to share her gifts and talents with this team and those she serves both inside our company as well as those within her own company.  Congratulations Tricia for a job well done.  We look forward to a continued friendship with you as your life and personal mission unfolds.  Below you can read more about Tricia and the services she offers to teams and individuals.

Many of you may know that National Trainer and Path4Teens Advocate, Shannell McMillan has been working with ShareFest the past several months to bring a portion of the programs and services offered by ShareFest to youth in the Los Angeles area.  Both the Founder of ShareFest, Chad Mayer and Path4Teen Trainer Shannell McMillan have joined forces to add Path4Teens to the program offerings on the ShareFest menu.  Click here for to view the Youth Development Program and watch a short clip of a student who has experienced the program.

Last week was an amazing week filled with meeting new friends both in Nashville and Dallas.  We had two events planned in Dallas.  One with Proven Way Ministries and one with First Friday Women.  Both organizations are full of wonderful women that want to connect, learn and serve.  They are full on players in leadership and know how to have fun!  We certainly had a blast.  Thank you Terri of Proven Way Ministries and Lisa of First Friday Women for a remarkable time together.

We also spent the weekend at the Lake house of one of our trainers.  It was a great setting, a beautiful place with absolutely amazing trainers and coaches.  This group of trainers and coaches serves the Laurie Beth Jones Inc training and development programs and resources.  We spent the weekend together bringing 2009 to a close and preparing for what is just ahead of us all in 2010.  We unpacked Laurie Beth’s new book that is about to be released on May 4,  Jesus, Career Counselor. This week Laurie Beth will share with both National Team Trainers Nicole Greer and Maria Hall on the 7 Gifts of Business. Over the last several years, I have become aware of  a new breed of businesspeople.  I call them spiritreneurs (spirit-ra-nurs).  “Spiritreneur” is derived from the words spirit and entrepreneur.  Webster’s Dictionary defines spirit briefly as “the soul or heart, as the seat of feelings” and entrepreneur as “a person who organizes and manages an enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.”  Thus, spiritreneurs are those who fully integrate their soul in a workplace enterprise.  If you want to know whether or not you are a spiritreneur, just ask yourself two questions.  “Would I be doing this work even if I weren’t getting paid?” and “Am I doing this work as unto the Lord?”  If your answer to both of these questions is yes, you are on your way to “spiritreneurship.”

Over the next several weeks and months we will begin to meet each of you that are on this track of  “spiritreneurship.”  There are members of our National Training Team who are passionate about connecting with the ‘spirited’ entrepreneurs as part of their personal mission and vision.  We want to hear your stories about business, how you started, how you are keeping things going and how the ‘spirited’ side of the business impacts all you do.

This will be an exciting journey so I invite you to join along, share and interact with me around the concepts and message inside Jesus Entrepreneur.  I will be interacting closely with members of my team as they share and connect about how they are living out the spiritreneur concepts in their lives, businesses and families.
